ZEBRA KAGEL is ideal for groups of up to 60 people. While the focus is on seminars, educational projects and youth groups, we can accommodate events of all kinds, such as family celebrations, birthdays, engagements and weddings.
The TIME OUT guesthouse has 4-bed rooms with hand-made natural wooden bunk beds. Bed linen can be brought or provided for a surcharge of € 4 / person. On the ground and first floors there are sanitary facilities with sinks, showers and toilets.
The self-catering kitchen with two refrigerators, stove and microwave on the ground floor of the bed house is suitable for small groups of up to 10 people or as a separate tea kitchen for larger groups.
In summer, the outdoor kitchen with gas cookers and grills can be booked.
The catering of the guests with breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks is done by our catering service, with which special catering requests can be arranged directly.
The large hall can be used for events with up to 80 people if at least 12 overnight stays are booked at the same time. It is also available as a dining room for large groups. It has a music system, a grand piano, enough tables and chairs.
Groups of up to 36 people can use our beautifully refurbished dining rooms. Our seminar room Salon Rouge in the ArtHouse is equipped with tables, chairs, a flipchart, sofas and armchairs, in addition to sports mats and a piano. The ArtHouse has a reception room, a small art workshop, a planning room for project organisers and team leaders, and various multi-use rooms that can be used during events and projects.
Outside we have a large fireplace, garden furniture, a trampoline. And of course the nature begins at the doorstep.
The area surrounding ZEBRA KAGEL offers numerous possibilities for activities, for making new experiences and for exploring the diversity of the local area. The immediate environment offers several crystal-clear lakes for swimming as well as hiking trails and bicycle tours through the surrounding forests. The European cycle route R1 leads through Kagel, while a series of art installations can be found along the River Spree cycle track between Hangelsberg and Fürstenwalde. Also nearby is a forest climbing park in Grünheide, the Museum Park in Rüdersdorf, home to the historic mining and lime works and the ostrich farm in Kagel. The local area also offers activities such as boating on the lakes, paddling on the river Spree, fishing in Klein Wall and much more.
The many local village festivals held in the region have their own character and charm. For example, the Sound and Light Festival in Kagel, which takes place on the village square every summer, and the local Christmas market, attract increasing numbers of visitors from near and far.
